In September 2017, the NSW Wellbeing Collaborative released three new publications in its Wellbeing Series.
These publications aim to build the foundations and capacity of government agencies, non-government organisations and private enterprise in NSW to develop and implement policies, programs and services that promote wellbeing.
A case for change for thriving individuals, families, workplaces and communities lays out the case for a stronger focus on wellbeing outcomes and drivers.
Principles for action for thriving individuals, families, workplaces and communities provides a set of principles to promote collaboration, innovation and action on wellbeing.
The Wellbeing language and definitions guide provides guidance on the accepted literature on the science of wellbeing, or a starting point if there is no accepted literature. The guide translates more technical definitions and language into accessible language and references everyday descriptions.
