One year on – in building community resilience and wellbeing

Twelve months after the launch of Living Well and the NSW Government’s commitment to adopt and implement all its actions for the whole of-government, whole-of-life and whole-of-community vision for mental health in NSW, the Commission has taken the time to look back and take stock of progress made so far. One year on is an account to the NSW Minister for Mental Health, the Honourable Pru Goward MP, on the implementation of Living Well and the notable achievements made towards its overall objectives.

The report includes data on what we know about young people’s wellbeing and life satisfaction of people living with poor mental health. It reports on progress made across government toward including achievements in wellbeing such as the Department of Education’s Wellbeing Framework for Schools.
